As with any solution, this also has its drawbacks. Nothing is perfect and not even a lawn mower automatic, which might seem perfect, also have their drawbacks. Limiting the scope of work is certainly of key importance. Such devices work on a specific surface, depending on the model. If we choose such a device incorrectly, its working time will not be enough to mow the entire surface. Another, perhaps the biggest disadvantage is the price.
The cheapest robotic mower costs about PLN 2,000, those from the higher price range are several times higher. It all depends on the brand, engine power, battery charging time. In fact, every detail matters and each affects how much we pay for it.
What else? It is impossible not to pay attention to the fact that the installation itself is not the easiest one. The boundary wire is of key importance here, which should be used on almost the entire surface of the garden. It is known that we do not want to damage any trees, shrubs or rebates, so the better such an installation is installed, the greater satisfaction such an automatic mower will be able to provide and guarantee us.
What about security? There is a lot of controversy on this point. Most mowers are equipped with safety systems and when an obstacle is nearby or when a child, for example, turns the mower over, the blades automatically retract.
