Thinking about what a temporary employment agency is, how it works and what is worth knowing about it, it is worth realizing that the main part of its services is addressed to the employer. It earns money from it and it was created with him in mind.

So what does this type of agency care about? Mainly about two things.
Carrying out the recruitment process – in the first stage of cooperation with the client, the employment agency looks for employees according to its guidelines and needs. At the same time, he uses the database he already has, but also from advertising portals or social media. Thanks to the many channels, the recruitment process here is usually very fast.

Service for employees during their employment – after the employee is hired, the agency takes over practically all the employer’s obligations related to his employment. It is about handling payroll and documents, signing a contract with him, but also ensuring that the employee performs the tasks entrusted to him in the manner desired by the employer. It also settles holidays, dismissals and issues a work certificate after the end of cooperation.

In fact, the employer entrusts the entire process of hiring employees to the agency. You don’t have to worry about anything yourself. Instead, he gains an employee who is certainly able to do what he was actually hired to do.

Of course, it is worth bearing in mind that the client has to pay for the very process of cooperation with the agency. The cost of employment is therefore the employee’s remuneration and all taxes and benefits related to it, but also the margin that the agency charges for employment. This may be determined in the form of monthly contributions or payments calculated for each commenced hour of work.

A temporary employment agency from the perspective of an employee

Temporary employment agencies are most associated with employees – especially those who plan to be hired quickly, usually for a predetermined period of time (hence the “temporary nature” in the name of these agencies).

They tend to be associated with large corporations rather than small family businesses. The latter, after all, do not need many employees.
The agency is usually able to offer a very quick employment opportunity – with a minimum of formalities and a chance to start working immediately after applying and going through the recruitment process.

This is why she is appreciated. Most of the agencies operating on the market cooperate with many larger companies. Therefore, it is able to offer a lot of opportunities to start your own career.

The employee should be aware that after establishing cooperation with the agency, he becomes its employee. Even if he is sent to work for a larger company, he will not work directly for it.

He will be bound by the contract with the agency and it will settle accounts with him – primarily in financial terms, but also in disciplinary terms. In many cases, this blocks the possibility of greater development within the structures of the company itself. After all, technically you are not her employee.

Nevertheless, it fits in with the principle of provisionality and is understandable.
An employee can treat a temporary employment agency as an intermediary, thanks to whom he not only gets a job, but is also able to perform it. What is very important, working with her, she can often perform various jobs for many different companies.

The agency can therefore become a great source of income for all those who plan to work several jobs, and are unable to solve it logistically anywhere else. So that it all just works.

Although employment agencies are associated only with hiring employees at the lowest level, primarily those working in the so-called production, this is not the case at all. The lion’s share of them also employ office workers or those to provide various types of services. So it all depends on who you end up working with.
